A2Gold Finishes 4,400-Metre Taylor Drill Program, Shifts Rig to Eastside

Tonopah, Nevada – September 11, 2026 -- A2Gold Corp. (TSXV: AUAU) (OTCQX: AUXXF) (FRA: RR7) has completed 15 reverse-circulation drill holes totaling approximately 4,400 metres at its Taylor Gold-Silver Project in White Pine County, Nevada, marking the company's first drill campaign at the site since acquiring it earlier in 2026.

Taylor samples now await lab assay results

Drill core samples from the 4,400-metre program have been submitted for laboratory analysis, with results pending. The targets were selected using historical drilling data, geological mapping and geophysical surveys, and the program is intended to refine A2Gold's understanding of Taylor's broader mineralized system ahead of future exploration planning.

Rig moves directly to Eastside's Target Pente without downtime

Following completion at Taylor, the drill rig is being mobilized to A2Gold's flagship Eastside Project near Tonopah, Nevada, where a roughly 3,700-metre RC drilling program at Target Pente is set to begin shortly. Target Pente is one of several high-priority zones across the company's Eastside land package, and the program will test for higher-grade epithermal feeder faults and veins rather than expanding the known bulk-tonnage resource.

CEO Peter Gianulis said the completion of the Taylor program represents an important milestone for the company and that exploration is continuing "without interruption" as the rig transitions straight to Pente.

Eastside already hosts a 1.4-million-ounce gold resource

Eastside carries an inferred resource of 1.4 million ounces of gold and 8.8 million ounces of silver, while Taylor adds prospective gold, silver, antimony and porphyry-skarn exploration upside. A2Gold controls approximately 230 square kilometres of mineral tenure across the two Nevada projects. Kinross Gold Corporation holds approximately 9.9% of A2Gold's issued and outstanding shares.

John Marma, a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical disclosures in the announcement.
